center: Best Breakfast?

Where are the best breakfast places in the NE?

I'm sitting here thinking that I want to go out to breakfast.. but have no clue where good places to go are in the area. So, what do you think? Where are your favorite places to get breakfast or brunch in & around the NE?

And it's not like I have someone I can call up and ask, or roll over and nudge, right now..so.. I'm asking here.

Right now I'm particularly missing the tom jones $2.99 blue ribbon special. (Although I heard it went up to $3.49) .. and we have no waffle house yet. :(

Any nail salons around Street Road/Bensalem area that close past 7? I get out of work at the Neshaminy Interplex at like 6:30 and by the time I get anywhere, it's 6:45 and I get DEATH STARES from the workers at all these salons since they all close at 7 (and nails take about an hour). I keep hoping to find a chain store that is open until 9, but Nancy's Nails, NK's Nails and Regal Nails in the Walmart Shopping Center all close at freakin' 7.

Where can I go around NE Philly/the city in general where I can get my girlfriend a Fake Coach or "off the back of a truck" big handbag? She usually goes to New York, but I'm sure there's something decent around here.

redheadrat: I've been working too much

I suddenly realized that I don't know any good cheesesteak or chinese places near my home in NE. I know plenty near my work, but nothing near my home. The places I used to go to closed up or became ran down as the owners sold them, moved, or retired.

In any case, can someone recommend good chinese and cheesesteak places in NE between Cottman and Red Lion, west of the Boulevard.

happyendng: Car Repair shop

Hello everyone, I need some recommendations. My car's air conditioning crapped out a few weeks ago and I now have the funds to get it fixed. I live in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philly. Does anyone out there have any recommendations of good and even bad places to go for A/C repair work for cars. According to a mechanic who charges a bit too much, I need a new condenser to get the system running again and of course, the get the whole system refilled with freon. Any and all suggestions would be great.

Thank you!!!!

Hey all, i have a question. I have a stack of books starting from my freshman year of college and they are old editions so i know i wont be able to sell them back anywhere. I feel bad just throwing them out, especially because most of them are in new condition, and barely used. Does anyone know if i could sell them back anywhere or atleast donate them so ill know they are being used? They range from all different subjects such as bio, nursing, italian, public speaking...thanks for your help.
